Since starting out as a volunteer at a European Tour event in 1982, he has worked with elite players including Seve Ballesteros, Lee Westwood, Darren Clarke, Sergio Garcia, and Tiger Woods.
Foster’s partnership with Ballesteros, who he calls “the greatest golfer of his generation”, was especially memorable, filled with iconic moments like the miraculous shot at the European Masters that defied logic and showcased Ballesteros’ genius. His career has included Ryder Cup triumphs, major wins, and countless unforgettable stories from inside the ropes.
