With a career spanning television, theatre, and writing, Paul has twice been honoured with BAFTA Scotland Awards, underlining his remarkable impact on the Scottish entertainment industry.
Beyond Still Game, which earned him one of those BAFTA wins, Paul was a regular contributor to the hugely popular sketch show Chewin’ the Fat. He further showcased his talents as a writer, director, and star of Dear Green Place, where he picked up his second BAFTA.

After two hugely successful tours in 2024 and 2025, Paul Riley is back on the road in 2026 with brand new material in his latest stand-up show, “Too Smart To Be Nice”.
But that’s not the only time you’ll see Paul on stage. He’s also reuniting with Jane McCarry, Mark Cox, Gavin Mitchell, and Sanjeev Kohli for “Auld Pals: An Evening with the Stars of Still Game”, following a sold-out run in 2024.
